now, i would just like to share with you my experience with my proton. 1st, the first time i when i collected my car, the air-con not working, only hot con coming out from that vent. but, being a guy who's bout to drive his 1st car, it was just a small matter. u know, still in cloud 9....anyway, got that fixed and happy as a little kid.
before the 1st month birthday, before i have a chance to pay my 1st installment, my car was scratched...the scratch was a long line from the front wheel till the rear wheel. can u imagine my feeling that time...i was like numb...felt like a sharp knife piearced thru the heart. oh man.....take that.....my then, girlfren (my current dd) consolled me that, a man must not be a slave to the car, the car is only a transport...well, realistically it's true, i agreed with her. but deep down my heart...'this is my car, MY CAR'..
as time passsed by, i was beginning to realise that it was impossible to care for the car. thus i began to apply the principle. 'a car is only a transport'. i was a much happier man since then. but taking good care of the engine was my priority since then. until i sold my car, the exterior was battered, decorated. the engine was ok..u know....what can be expected from a 3 years old proton. if there are no sound from the car, it's not a proton, people say.
anyway, back to now, i exchanged a proton to a used nissan n16 gxe 1.8. i'm glad to say that i made the right choice. i am happy with it sticking with the principle 'a car is only a transport'.
i left with you the pic of my 1st car.

Hi. I was just surfing and came across your blog. My husband and I play in a Christian band! My sister's truck is not working right now and she's feeling all down. She has no way of getting around except with friends. It's amazing how much we rely on our cars! Good luck!
